What is World Bee Day?
World Bee Day is an annual event on 20 May raising awareness of the importance of bees for food security, biodiversity and ecosystem health.
World Bee Day provides an opportunity for governments, organisations, civil society and concerned citizens everywhere to promote actions that will protect and enhance pollinators and their habitats, improve their abundance and diversity, and support the sustainable development of beekeeping.
